A TRUE BLUE Family Effort at Crossway Eagle

The Crossway Eagle project is a great example of collaboration across the entire GOT family. Each company has played an important role in making this 10-year class a success.
Crossway Eagle is a self-elevating accommodation jack-up unit, designed to maintain gangway connection even in adverse sea conditions. It is operable in harsh offshore environments and rated for water depths of up to 350 feet (100 meters).
Our sister company Windport led the way from the port at Gismerøya in Mandal, ensuring smooth coordination and steady progress from start to finish. Their efforts helped secure an efficient and well-executed process throughout the project’s lifecycle. A method never before used in Norway: The rig’s legs were inspected and maintained using a specially designed barge that served as a support platform. This made it possible to lift one leg at a time without the need for drydocking.
GOT Vinje led the maintenance and classing work, in close cooperation with GOT Marine and several trusted subcontractors.
Meanwhile, GOT Safe Yards has fabricated a custom-made stairway that has been installed on board.
We would like to extend our thanks to Macro Offshore for the excellent cooperation throughout the project. Crossway Eagle is ready to set sail and take on new assignments, well prepared and fully equipped thanks to a True Blue team effort.
Never before has there been a more extensive operation in the Klevefjord when the special ship GPO Grace is now bringing the accommodation rig Crossway Eagle to New York. The 225-meter-long ship lowered eight meters to start the operation, then the rig was pushed into place.
