On 2nd April 1958, a contract was signed with the Naval Defense Supply Command (at the naval base Haakonsvern, Bergen) and the first vessel in the series “TJELD” was delivered 25th June 1960.

A total of 42 MTBs were constructed, there were 20 vessels to the Norwegian Navy, 2 vessels to the German Navy, 14 vessels to the US Navy and 6 to the Greek Navy. Moreover, the license rights were sold to USA. It was the first time in history that the USA imported naval vessels.

The naval architect was the well known Jan Herman Linge (son of Captain Martin Linge who led the Kompani Linge during WW2), and the constructor was A/S Westermoen Båtbyggeri og Mekanisk Verksted, later Båtservice and today GOT.

Today, we present the history of Nasty, but it all began with Rapp. Over time, our roots have delivered 59 naval newbuilds up until the late 1970s.

History can repeat itself. Building on our roots, we now focus on the our fast patrol vessel Falken24, engineered to support Coastal Rangers and SOF missions across both blue and green waters.
