Rowan Norway will go to GOT in Mandal when the ongoing contract is completed at Ekofisk end of August 2021. We are proud to announce the 3rd yard-stay contract with Valaris, a result of excellent efforts from the GOT team and our network of local suppliers. We are very pleased that Valaris have confidence in us, and our organizations work very well together.

This contract is a very good contribution to the activities in our yard. The contract will include service, repair, and modification tasks. The GOT team is well prepared, and the project will also involve other local suppliers.

The location close to the southern part of the North Sea, and seabed conditions at the yard, makes GOT Rig Harbor an attractive harbor for jack-up rigs. GOT has improved the yard facilities with focus on the environmental footprint. We have established excellent systems for wastehandling and black/grey wather treatment in addition to a HV shore power system with 2,2 MVA capacity.

We aim for projects with zero emission to air and sea together with rig owners and other partners. This is an important element for Valaris choosing GOT Rig Harbor for this yard-stay
