Offshore wind power, or offshore wind energy is the use of wind farms constructed in bodies of water, usually in the ocean - to harvest wind energy to generate clean electricity.

Global Ocean Technology AS is preparing for this new and sustainable activity. With yard facility at Gismerøya in Mandal south of Norway we do believe we will be a main player in a greener future.

With more than 48.000m2 area of yard, and more than 370.000 m2 area on the Island with less than 2 degrees of slope, we find ourself unique towards the industry. The island has good depth (20m+) alongside and less than 1.1 N.Mile to more than 100m water depth – all inside a sheltered port area.
