The minister of Trade and Industry, Jan Christian Vestre visited GOT today as a part of his ambitious goal to visit 100 Norwegian companies that are contributing to the green change this year.
GOT presented, together with four other local businesses, ongoing initiatives to support the green change in the region. GOT had the pleasure of hosting the visit.

During a guided tour through the shipbuilding facilities at Gismerøya, GOT presented a project where we together with SINTEF and others bring forward the world`s first Zero-emission coastal fishing vessel.

GOT are excited to contribute with our experience in a project that will create positive effects for both the fishing industry as well as other marine industries.

During the visit, the Minister was also informed about GOT`s initiative that will be launched shortly towards offshore wind, particularly aiming for the development of Sørlige Nordsjø II.
GOT will be a part of realizing the green change through innovative solutions and products.
